Scenario 1: Depositing a Crypto Not Supported by MEXC
What does it mean to deposit a crypto not supported by MEXC?
MEXC only supports automatic crediting of deposits for cryptos listed on the user's "Wallets Overview" pagethat usethe blockchain network to which they correspond. If you inadvertently make a deposit in an unsupported cryptocurrency or using an unsupported blockchain network, MEXC will assist you in recovering your assets manually for a processing fee.
Note: Specific cryptos/networks might not support recovery.
Case A: Depositing old futures tokens
MEXC will upgrade or replace the tokens according to the project's operation direction, and will no longer support old futures token deposits. For instance: ZINU/GART, etc. If you deposit the old futures tokens, your deposit will not be credited. For this case, please make sure that the contract address of the corresponding token is the same for both the issuing party and receiving party before you make the deposit. In case of uncertainty, you can always contact MEXC customer service for the crypto's contract address.
Case B: Deposit using unsupported blockchain networks
Some stablecoins issue tokens on multiple networks. MEXC might have listed the tokens, but it does not mean that all networks are supported for deposits.
For instance,if you used the ftmscan blockchain network to deposit USDC, it will not be credited because MEXC currently does not support the USDT-FTM network.
For this case, please make sure that the network of the issuing party and the receiving party are the same before you make the deposit.
What should I do?
When you discover an incorrect deposit, you will need to log in to the MEXC account that received the transfer and contact customer service. Explain your situation and submit the following information according to the guidelines given by customer service. MEXC will assist you with recovering your assets on a best-effort basis.
-
UID/registered email/registered mobile number
-
Deposit token and amount
-
The hash value/transaction ID of the deposit
-
Screenshot of the source of the deposit
Details of the required documents
We will provide a detailed explanation for the above-mentioned documents so that you can provide them accurately.
(1) UID/registered email/registered mobile number
The UID can be found on your MEXC profile page.
Copy and paste the complete unfilled/misfilled MEMO transaction hash (TxID). You can find it on the platform where the tokens were withdrawn and transferred.
(2) Deposit token and amount
The name of the token and the amount you have deposited.
(3) The hash value/transaction number of the deposit
Copy and paste the complete transaction hash (TxID) of the wrong deposit, which can be found on the platform where the tokens were withdrawn and transferred.
(4) Screenshot of the source of the deposit
Please log in to the withdrawal platform, search your withdrawal history and find the corresponding withdrawal record. Note: The screenshot should clearly show the complete hash value and address, token and amount.
Terms & Conditions
-
All asset recovery procedures are conducted on a best-effort basis. MEXC does not guarantee that assets can be recovered in its entirety in all cases.
-
If MEXC is unable to recover the assets, the unsupported cryptos deposited by the trader will be permanently lost.
-
If our asset recovery team is able to recover an unsupported token by our platform, a fee of 50 USDT will be charged.
-
If our asset recovery team is unable to recover an unsupported token by our platform, you can contact our customer service to request a refund of the 50 USDT fee.
-
By accepting the Asset Recovery Terms & Conditions, traders will need to understand that the expected token recovery time may take up to 22 business days.
Scenario 2: Unfilled/Misfilled MEMO
What is an unfilled/misfilled MEMO deposit?
"Memo" is an additional address function necessary to identify the recipient of a transaction other than the wallet address. For some digital assets such as XLM, XRP, ATOM, EOS, TON, and other tokens, the corresponding MEMO information must be entered in order for the transfer to be effective.
At MEXC, for the tokens that require a deposit MEMO, all the accounts share the same deposit wallet address, e.g. XRP, TON, etc. Therefore, traders must enter the correct deposit tag in order for the assets to be credited successfully.
Case A: Depositing TON but mistakenly filled in "Send" as the target MEMO
Case B: Depositing TON without filling the MEMO (no Message section)
What should I do?
If you have already made a transfer and have forgotten/filled in the wrong MEMO, please prepare the following documents and information according to the amount of your deposit, then contact customer service to submit them.
If deposit amount ≤ 1,000 USDT:
-
TxID of the wrong deposit
-
Small deposit TxID
-
Account UID
-

If deposit amount > 1,000USDT:
-

-
Small deposit TxID
-
Account UID
-

-
Withdrawal history video file
-

Details of the required documents
We will provide a detailed explanation for the documents required so that you can provide them accurately.
Transaction hash (TxID)
Copy and paste the complete unfilled/misfilled MEMO transaction hash (TxID). You can find it on the platform where the tokens were withdrawn and transferred.
Small deposit hash (TxID)
A transfer with the correct MEMO needs to be sent from the same address. Then, copy and paste the small deposit hash (TxID), which can be found on the platform where the tokens were withdrawn and transferred.
Account UID
The UID can be found on your MEXC profile page.
Screenshot of withdrawal history
Take a screenshot of the source of this deposit. (Please log in to the withdrawal platform, search your withdrawal history and find the corresponding withdrawal record. Note: The screenshot should clearly show the complete hash value and address, token and amount.)
Withdrawal history video file
Assuming you have previously made transfers from Exchange A to MEXC, we would like you to provide a clear video of your screen recording that includes the following.
-
You can successfully login to Exchange A (To protect your personal information, you can enter your username and password before you start recording. Then, start the recording and click the login button.)
-
Go to the withdrawal history page on Exchange A
-
Display the details of previous transfer to MEXC clearly. The details should include the amount, token, date and time of the transfer, and the full TxID (transaction hash)
-
If Exchange A's withdrawal history page does not show the full TxID, but has a link to the blockchain, click on the link and display the information on the blockchain.
Photo of you holding your ID
You need to take a photo of yourself holding your ID and a sheet of white paper. The white paper should have the following information written on it: "MEXC" + "crediting application for deposit with unfilled/wrong MEMO" + current date.
-
As the asset recovery procedure involves a large amount of manpower, a processing fee of 20 USDT equivalent will be charged in tokens if your information is approved after the review.
-
As manual verification is required in addition to other processes, it may take 1-3 business days for the crediting to complete. A longer time will be required for cases where assets are deposited into a wrong account due to entering an incorrect tag.

HAVE YOU BEEN SCAMMED OF YOUR COINS AND WANTS TO GET IT RECOVERED BACK??? I invested a total of$95,000.00USD worth of Bitcoin with an online company who does trading and was guaranteed a payout of 25% a week. They ended up shutting down their company website but their website was still running. So I could still see my dashboard at that time and instead of paying weekly they ended up compounding my money. It ended up compounding to$179, 000USD so I requested for a withdrawal which was declined before they shutdown their website, I complained to my colleague at work who directed me about this recovery expert, Mr. Adam Wilson who I contacted immediately, what surprised me most, was that I recovered my money that same week. You can contact him on his email at ADAMWILSON . TRADING @ CONSULTANT COM / WhatsApp: + 1870 – 345 - 7937 and he will assist you on the steps to recover your funds. Just trying to help those who where scammed just the way I was too.
