MEXC Will Support the Bitcoin (BTC) Taproot Upgrade

MEXC will support the upcoming Bitcoin (BTC) Taproot upgrade. Details are as follows:

At the Bitcoin mainnet block height of 709,632, or approximately on 14th November 2021, the Bitcoin (BTC) network will undergo a soft fork called the Taproot upgrade. This soft fork aims to optimise scalability, privacy, and smart contract functionality to the BTC network.

Please note:

The Bitcoin (BTC) network upgrade & soft fork will take place at Bitcoin mainnet block height of 709,632. The estimated time is for reference only and is subject to change depending on block propagation times.
During this upgrade, the deposit and withdrawal system of BTC will will temporarily be out of service from 03:00 (UTC) on November 14th . The trading of BTC will not be affected during this period.
MEXC will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding BTC in their MEXC accounts.
